When you fail to adjust to the changing vicissitudes of life, you will fail to achieve your
goals in life
Exposure to new experiences is opportunity for growth
Never enlist a loser as your close friend or counselor - what you will become in fi ve
years will be determined largely by who you associate with
Your chief want in life is someone to inspire you to become what you really want to be
You can no more do God’s work without God than you could have sunshine without the sun
Every one encounters storms and dry wells in life, which threatens to wreck their journey of life.
However, the secret to safe arrival is to continually adjust. What are you encountering that demands your adjusting? When you fail to adjust to the changing vicissitudes of life, you will fail to achieve your goals in life. Although you may not know it, the fact is, you are equal to the task. Whatever life throws at you, you can handle it by the grace of God. All you need is to believe God. Those who believe God are unlimited by anything that is limiting those who have made a choice not to believe Him. Exposure to new experiences is opportunity for growth. We always have a number of opportunities in our hands. Nothing in life causes more stress, yet at the same time provides more opportunities for growth than new experiences. And we don’t make it any better when we hook up with the wrong people, who could be our spouses, friends, colleagues or family members. I mean, choose not to associate with losers. They cannot offer you any encouragement, because they only see
through a negative attitude of failure. Losers have a losing attitude embedded deep within the inner self. A penny-worth of advice – never enlist a loser as your close friend or counselor. What you will become in fi ve years will be determined largely by who you associate with, (see 1 Samuel 16:7). Surround yourself with positive people, those with a highly powered drive to win and for success. Others can motivate you, but you are the one who can do it.

Your chief want in life is someone to inspire you to become what you really want to be. What you and I do might not have much signifi cance, but then, we may never know. It is always a good thing to encourage and do your best to better the lives of others. You are a solution to someone’s problem, and there is someone who has your own solution, too. Let us
regard one another and treat each other with love. My friends, look at the bright side no matter how old you are. You are younger than you will ever be again. You age quickly when you have no vision to live for. As the earth revolves around the sun, so should your life also revolve around the Son of God. Declare your complete dependence on Jesus Christ. When you do this God will look past your faults and see your needs. He will show you that He will replace everything that is missing in your life. He will also show you that in your life nothing can replace Him. You can no more do God’s work without God than you could have sunshine without the sun. Don’t be so close to God and yet so far. The way you see yourself affects what you can do. Men and women are limited not by the place of their birth, not by the color of their skin - but by the size of their hope. You are fortunate because regardless of where you live, you are in the geographical centre of the world. You can go from where you are to anywhere you want to go. If you will supply the ‘I want to’, the ‘how to’ will be supplied to you. No man ever got lost on a straight road.
