Rhetorical Strategies

You will be divided into groups Each group will be in charge of learning

and understanding a rhetorical strategy You will create a poster that defines the

strategy clearly, provides an example from “No Name Woman,” applies the strategy to a slogan, and provides a visual image.

Roles

Facilitator: Read the directions and make sure everyone in the group is participating

Resource Manager: Procures the necessary materials for the assignment and the poster; manages the group’s time.

Recorder: Designs a mock-up poster that must be cleared by Mr. Rivera first.

Reporter: Presents the poster to the class. N.B. If you are a group of three, the Resource

Manager and Recorder will be the same person.
