EEEExhibitors were treated to
some of the dampest condi-
tions experienced in years at
the 2009 Civinex Expo.
But the weather did not stop
the four thousand plus atten-
dance to Eastern Creek, with
well over a hundred exhibitors
displayed their products.
Soilbond received an over
whelming response to it's
stand, and with interest from a
variety of different companies
and Government bodies.
Many people were interested in
the “Green” aspect of Soilbond,
with controlling dust and stabi-
lizing material.
During the three day event,
Soilbond's request to send
further information tripled
compared with previous years.
This demonstrates the change
in finding new products that
have minimal effect to the
environment.
The majority of inquires came
from different areas of Govern-
ment departments. Local
councils, parks and gardens to
name a few.
Business Development Man-
ager Steve Piesley said
“Companies are all expressing
issues faced with pressures in
using “Green” products for
their projects. Soilbond has a
product to meet these de-
mands”
Soilbond appreciates the re-
sponse received at Civinex and
the company looks forward to
future your business .

Heath from Eureka Land-
scapes in Qld, couldn’t believe his
luck when he returned to a site he
had recently completed.
Faced with the grim possibili-
ties of losing all the work he had
provided to his customer, was
pleasantly surprised to see the
heavy work still in tack. When
speaking to Heath he told Soil-
bond “He was very surprised to
see the stabilised material still
there, considering the amount of
water had been through the area”.
Proving that Soilbond has the
ability to overcome a natural del-
uge of water and remain in place.

the quarries own product through
the quarries plant .
At a recent Quarry Institute
dinner ,Soilbond caught up with
Adrian Bull the Quarry Manager for
Lake Cooper and he said after six
years of traffic , minimal mainte-
nance, the road is holding up well.
Mawson’s Lake Cooper is
one of Victoria’s well known quarry
sites. Mawson's contacted Chester
Bodycoat from Soilbond to suggest
a fix to a problem they had at the
Lake Cooper site.
An issue with a section of the
haul road had become unstable
and causing the trucks to bounce
over the ruts and corrugations.
After visiting the site, Chester’s
recommendations were submitted
and a section of the road way
This is testament to Soilbond’s
longevity, also using a quality base
material for heavy vehicle traffic.

SOILBOND AND VIC ROADS
Soilbond has been requested
to manage an up and coming
stabilising project for Vic Roads
Western office.
Roads works carried out ear-
lier in 2008 required granitic sand
medium strip to be used as a
natural looking finish to the site
appearance. However the material
used was compacted but not stabi-
lised to any degree.
The Soilbond product was
referred to Vic Roads for its stabili-
sation properties to overcome the
erosion with material currently in
place.

As our client base grew so did our Company, employing approx 15 staff through the 2005 and 2006 years. It was also through these years that we forged our relationships with several commercial land-scaping companies and started specialising in com-mercial hard landscape construction. In 2007 we also branched into all aspects of concreting, setting up specific vehicles and teams dedicated to this work. It took of so fast that we poured approx 11 000m² in that year alone. Paving Solutions is now cemented as a well established com-pany with strong financial backing. We now employ approx 20-25 staff and have a fleet consisting of 2 bobcats, 7 trucks and 3 utes.
