The owners of a private gar-

den in Western Australia used

Soilbond to help in the stabilise

the materials used in constructing

the garden.

The owner heard about Soil-

bond from a referral and from

initial inquiries purchased Soil-

bond for the project.

Soilbond was used to stabilise

and Soilbond was mixed in with

the quarries own product through

the quarries plant .

At a recent Quarry Institute

dinner ,Soilbond caught up with

Adrian Bull the Quarry Manager for

Lake Cooper and he said after six

years of traffic , minimal mainte-

nance, the road is holding up well.

Mawson’s Lake Cooper is

one of Victoria’s well known quarry

sites. Mawson's contacted Chester

Bodycoat from Soilbond to suggest

a fix to a problem they had at the

Lake Cooper site.

An issue with a section of the

haul road had become unstable

and causing the trucks to bounce

over the ruts and corrugations.

After visiting the site, Chester’s

recommendations were submitted

and a section of the road way

This is testament to Soilbond’s

longevity, also using a quality base

material for heavy vehicle traffic.

A full report will be available

on our web site shortly.

SOILBOND AND VIC ROADS

Soilbond has been requested

to manage an up and coming

stabilising project for Vic Roads

Western office.

Roads works carried out ear-

lier in 2008 required granitic sand

medium strip to be used as a

natural looking finish to the site

appearance. However the material

used was compacted but not stabi-

lised to any degree.

The Soilbond product was

referred to Vic Roads for its stabili-

sation properties to overcome the

erosion with material currently in

place.

As our client base grew so did our Company, employing approx 15 staff through the 2005 and 2006 years. It was also through these years that we forged our relationships with several commercial land-scaping companies and started specialising in com-mercial hard landscape construction. In 2007 we also branched into all aspects of concreting, setting up specific vehicles and teams dedicated to this work. It took of so fast that we poured approx 11 000m² in that year alone. Paving Solutions is now cemented as a well established com-pany with strong financial backing. We now employ approx 20-25 staff and have a fleet consisting of 2 bobcats, 7 trucks and 3 utes.

As a company we pride ourselves on being very versatile, carrying out just about anything we are asked to price. This works extends to but is not limited to brick paving, limestone walls, cladding, capping, pitching and rockwork, brick/block work, all aspects of concreting and all aspects of bulk or fine grade earth-works.

This flexibility and our well organised com-pany structure allows us to tender on and carry out work from some of the largest to some of the smallest jobs in Perth and all over
