NISL / US CLUb SoCCer CLUb CUPboYS 2012

NISL / U.S. Club Soccer will have a State Cup for boys. This tournament is not

intended as a replacement for the USYS Championship, but an alternative for

those teams that wish to advance to a U.S. Club National Championship.

eLIgIbILItY: - The State Cup is restricted to US Club Soccer Club and

League members. However, if slots are available, members of other

USSF-affiliated organizations may apply to participate. If accepted, any

such non-members shall register that team, and receive player

cards and tournament insurance from US Club Soccer. The

Tournament Authority shall ensure that all US Club Soccer State Cup

teams play with their US Club Soccer cards.

AgeS: - Single Year U9, U10, U11, U12, U13, U14, U15, U16, U17, U18 / Two Level Brackets

LeveLS: - Level 1 - Top 1-24 Ranked Teams

Level 2 - Next 25-48 Ranked Teams

eNtrY Fee: - (All teams are guaranteed 3 games) U9 - U10: $ 300.00 U11 - U12: $ 325.00(U12 Classic)U13 - U14: $ 350.00 U15 - U18: $ 375.00

LAwS oF the gAme: - All matches played in accordance with FIFA Laws of the game, except as specifically modified by NISL Playing

Rules. (Reference: Field Size, Playing Numbers, etc.)

toUrNAmeNt & mAtCh SChedULe: - Tournament Format: First round is a 3-game Round Robin. Teams are ranked and divided equally

by a blind draw. Winners of each group advance to an 8-team double elimination format. This eliminates errors made in seeding and

teams are not eliminated by their play in one game.

• Subsitutions are Unlimited for all age groups

• 1st round pool play games will be Win/Tie/Lose

• Pool Play Tie Breaker - each group will be determined by: 1st - Head to Head games

2nd - goals Against

3rd - goals For

4th - Coin Toss

• double elimination tournament play will be Win/Lose - Tie Breaker PeNALITY KICKS

mAtCh SChedULe: - games will be scheduled at the League Schedule meeting. march 18, 2012

roSterS: - No restrictions on rosters. Players become “Cup-tied” to a team. A player may not play for different teams in different level

of the Cup. Players can move up, but they become Cup-tied to that team for the tournament. (i.e. If Player A plays for U14 team in the

Champions Cup, this player can move to the U14 team playing in the Premier Cup. once that player has played at that level, he or she

cannot play down. Players can move up at any time, no restrictions.)

No guest players from another Club permitted.

gAmeS LoCAtIoN: - The Home Team to provide fields and contact assignor for providing referees. NISL pays center referees.

reFereeS: - All matches must use referees certified by the U.S. Soccer Federation
