Oil demand in the long‐term

• Global oil demand will increase by 15.8 mb/d, reaching 111.1 mb/d by 2040.
• The transportation sector will remain the main consumer of oil.
• Strong growth is also foreseen in the petrochemicals sector.
• Demand growth decelerates over the long-term.
