WEEK 1

Report from Bayelsa State NMA on the

Report of the Medical Women’s

Association of Nigerian (MWAN)

presented to the National Executive

Council NEC Meeting of the Nigerian

Medical Association held at Villa Toscana

Hotel Enugu on 21st to 28th August, 2016

was received at the NMA National

Secretariat.

NMA President Dr. Mike O. Ogirima

attended the 34th Annual Convocation

Ceremony of the National Postgraduate

Medical College of Nigeria in Lagos.

NMA President Dr. Mike O. Ogirima

attended the National Association of

Residence Doctors (NARD) Ordinary

General Meeting at Enugu.

NMA President Dr. Mike O. Ogirima and

the Chairman Committee on Publication

and Publicity Dr. Solomon Avidime with

the Members of NMA Abia State paid a

courtesy Visit to the Executive Governor

of Abia His Excellency, Mr Okezie Ikpeazu

General Assembly Meeting Holding at

WEEK 3

Dr. Saheed B.K.Y represented the NMA

President at the 2016 Birthday Lecture in

Honour of Chief David Ajibola Olorunleke,

FCTI held in Lagos.

National Officer’s Committee (NOC)

Meeting of the Nigerian Medical

Association was held on 23rd September,

2016 at the Conference Room of the

Nigerian Medical Association National

Secretariat, Abuja.

NMA Retreat for the State Chairmen and

Secretaries, and Affiliate bodies was held

on 24th September, 2016 at Royal

Tropicana Hotel, Utako, Abuja.

WEEK 4

The Admin Officer, Nigerian Medical

Association Mr. Emeka Akpa attended

the third quarter meeting of the Industry

Consumer Advisory Forum (ICAF) for the

year 2016 at the NCC headquarters

Maitama, Abuja.

NMA President, Dr. Mike Ogirima leading members in the recitation of the

Physicians Oath at the just concluded NMA Leadership Retreat.

ANNOUNCEMENT

December National Executive Council Meeting of

the NMA will take place in Lokoja, Kogi State from

the 4th to the 11th of December, 2016.

NMA Games will be taking place in February at

Jalingo, Taraba State

April 2017 Annual General Conference and

Delegates meeting of the NMA will take place at

Calabar, Cross Rivers State.

August 2017 National Executive Council meeting

of NMA will take place in Kaduna State.

Newly elected state executives are to send in the full names, office Address, State Secretariat Address, Email Address of the Chairman and Secretary to the nationalnma@yahoo.com and copy sununu4u@yahoo.com, mekutivity2002@yahoo.co.uk

States are to send the Names, Address, Email
