Julia Margaret Cameron Victorian Photographer

Julia Margaret was born in Calcutta, India. Julia’s family celebrated beauty and riches, she was considered the “ugly duckling,” of the family. She went to school in France and then married in 1848 to Charles hay Cameron.

The master’s impact:

Julia Cameron’s impact in the photography world was to be different. In her time basically all photographers tried to achieve sharpness and much detail. While she went for a more emotional photo that sort of told a story.

Homage:

I picked this master to homage because I really like her style of photography and how she strived to be different. She didn’t just go with the flow of what other photographers where do. She did he own thing and clearly made a difference in the photography world.
