2009 Horse and Dog Show Results

The 2009 Dorset Charity Horse And Dog Show, organised by Anne Heyes and Tara Harris,was on Saturday 18th July 2009 at Homelands Farm, Three Legged Cross, nr Wimborne,Dorset.

It was run for the Wimborne & Ferndown Lions Cub who will be splitting the profits, from theshow, between the Dorset & Somerset Air Ambulance and the Poole Hospital Special babiesunit..

It was a hugely successful event and organiser Anne Heyes stated that the two charitieswould be pleasantly surprised with the donations!

The Horse Show saw some 400 horses & ponies competing in 6 rings with 65 classes.

All the classes were sponsored and many of them were at the show to present their rosettesto the class winners. The show would not be able to run without their support and it was lovelyto have them there showing an interest. Major sponsors for the Horse Show included A&CDunkleyTiles, Nicholas O'Hara Funeral Directors and, for the Dog Show, Select PVC-U.

Anne would also like to take this opportunity to thank all the Lions, her sponsors,judges and stewards for all their support and hard work.
