The Beulah Methodist Men’s STEAK SUPPER is April 16, 4 until 7

PM, $9 for an Adult plate and $6 for a Child’s plate. WGOB

will have baked goods and homemade desserts for sale.

Donations of baked goods are needed for the April 16 Steak

Supper. All proceeds will go towards helping start our new

Women’s Group of Beulah (WGOB). Cakes, pies, cookies,

puddings and cobblers will be very much appreciated. Please

have your baked items in the Family Life Center kitchen by

2:00 p.m. on April 16. Thank you for your donations.

Our Seniors’ Group will visit Hatcher Gardens in

Spartanburg April 11 leaving the church at 9:30 AM.

They will enjoy lunch at Wades Restaurant on the way.

Call Cindy Price (892-3462) to reserve your seat on the

bus.

The Star Member for April is Luther Rogers, 2033 Shull Avenue, Gilbert 29054 (892-3601). Please remember our Star Member with a card, note, visit or phone call. Let Luther know we care. LICS URGENT FOOD REQUEST! LICS food pantry shelves are bare. They are experiencing a large number of Food for Living monthly clients who include some veterans who need assistance, some disabled, and some living only on Social Security. If you can help, please place these items in the boxes provided in the church narthex and in the entrance to the Family Life Center. Most needed items: canned chili, spaghetti sauce, canned beef stew, jelly, canned fruit, pork & beans, canned corn, canned tomatoes, sweet peas, mashed potatoes, ramen noodles, and corn muffin mix. Thank you for caring for others. FOR SALE: We have a beautiful blue evening gown, great for the prom, dress size 7-8 in excellent condition which someone gave for the yard sale. Cost $25. Call the church office if you are interested.

The Mary/Martha Circle Annual Ladies Night Out will be Friday, May 6, 6:30 p.m. Moms, daughters, friends, sisters are all invited. Dondi Best and Sandy Lorey will prepare a

delicious meal consisting of 2 meats, vegetables, bread and dessert. Cost will be $9 for adults, $5 for ages 7-12, and girls under 7 no charge.

YOUTH MINISTRIES DIRECTOR Beulah United Methodist Church in Gilbert, SC is in need of a Youth Ministries Director. This is a part-

time position for an individual and/or couple with the potential of ultimately becoming full-time.

OUTREACH MINISTRY is asking for your help to financially support the Beulah

Mission Team headed by Pastor Tony. The first of 3 fund raising events is April 30,

4 until 7 p.m. – Chicken Bog (prepared by Carey Smith) $9.00 for adults, $5.00 for

children.

Salkehatchie Camp for teens (at least 14 years of age) and adults is July 9-16 at Fairfield(Winnsboro) Camp. The cost is $100 or less depending upon number of people attending. Registration is now open. Read article in April newsletter and contact William Thompson ([email protected]) 803-429-9604 or Chuck Knight (803- 331-7899) if interested. The Women’s Group of Beulah invites all women to an Art Glass Class by Karen Mixon,

Saturday, May 7, 9-11 AM, in the Social Hall. We will begin by making handheld prayer

crosses and magnets. The cost is $8 for prayer crosses and $10 for sun catchers. The

class is limited to 15 ladies. Sign-up sheets are located in the Family Life Center and

the Narthex or contact Diane Crosby (843-729-2038 or [email protected]).

ATTENTION BEULAH MEMBERS: We need a junior youth Sunday School teacher, a junior youth teacher’s assistant, an assistant for the preschool Sunday School class, and an assistant for the early elementary Sunday School class. Our Sunday School classes are growing so won’t you please consider giving an hour on Sunday mornings to help us teach our children about God and his love for them. If you don’t want to teach or assist every Sunday, talk to Mindy Price 465-1477 or 892-4362 and tell her what you are willing to do. Without your help we cannot maintain our Sunday School classes.
