EDUCATION WEEK

As part of Education Week, Ringrose Public School is holding an Open Day on Tuesday 30th July,

2013. Families and Friends are invited to come and celebrate the wonderful learning that has taken

place with our students throughout the year.

Schedule

9:30am – Open classroom

10am – Move over to Hall

11am – Recess (Families and friends are invited to stay and have recess with their children. Tea

and coffee will be available)

Stage 3 are providing delicious cakes and slices for everyone to purchase. Enjoy!

BOOK FAIR ON OPEN DAY

Dear Parents / Caregivers, As part of next Tuesday’s Open Day celebration, we will be holding a Book Fair. I would like to take this opportunity to invite you to this event, which will start at 8:30am. A book fair is a fantastic opportunity for students to participate in the “book buying” experience, with many new books available at competitive prices. There will even be a section with “one off” bargain books. It is important to note that Ringrose Public School also benefits from this Book Fair – for every $100 worth of books sold, we are allowed to choose $25 worth for the school. These will go directly into our collection, meaning your children will have more resources at their disposal. For this reason, our target for the day is to reach $2500 worth of sales, which will mean that the school can choose at least $600 worth of new books. As part of the promotion of the Book Fair, there will be a prize draw on Friday of this week. This will be a lucky draw, with all students eligible to win!

1st prize - $25 voucher to spend at the fair 2nd prize -$15 voucher to spend at the fair 3rd prize - $10 voucher to spend at the fair

Thank you for your anticipated support in helping us reach our goal.

Mr Walker Mr Spargo (Teacher/Librarian) (Principal)
