We have two more Christmas Programs to go. The Early Education Center will have their program this Sunday at 3PM and our K-4 th graders will perform Tues- day at 7PM. We will also have our Posada on Wednesday before we leave for Christmas break. I love this prayer service. It is so moving to watch the children process quietly through the halls following the shepherds to the stable. It is the perfect expression of the season and a great way to send the children home for Christ- mas. I will not be writing to you next week, so I want to take this opportunity to wish you all a very blessed Christmas. God’s Blessings, Mrs. Gates P.S. As you finish your Christmas shopping please put an item for Celebration on your list. We will still be accepting donations for the auction after Christmas break.

The weather is getting cold and we are sure to have some "winter weather" coming our way. I just want to remind you all of the policy regarding school closings. The decision to close school due to weather is made by Dr. O'Hara, the su-perintendent of schools. She notifies the media. Your best source of infor-mation is to watch one of the major TV networks. We will be listed as either

Johnson and Wyandotte County Catholic Schools or

Wyandotte and Johnson County Catholic Schools WE WILL NOT BE LISTED AS HOLY CROSS CATHOLIC SCHOOL. If you see that listing it refers to Holy Cross in Kansas City, MO. Once we are here, we do not close school early due to weather. You, as the parent, may make the decision to pick your child up early if you feel like.
