OLD MACDONALD’S TRAVELLING FARM
K-2 ATHLETICS CARNIVAL
It was lovely to see what our Performing Arts Students have been up to over the
past semester! Our Senior and Junior Band conducted and trained by Mr Chris Trottman have improved so much and played some great songs that we could all join in.
Our strings group led and trained by Mrs Lesley Priest played beautifully on the
stage to present three wonderful pieces. And our Senior Dance group trained by Ms Joyce, presented their dance piece
from this year’s Southern Network Dance festival titled ‘Thriller’.
A big thanks to our families, parents and friends that came along to support.
Congratulations Kids! It was a great concert.
WELL DONE MICHAEL!
Congratulations to Michael and his team SHOCKWAVE who placed 2nd at the Newcastle Cheercon, this fantastic
effort secured their place at the AASCF (Australian All-Star Cheerleading Federation) State Championships in Sydney. SHOCKWAVE competed against 12,000 cheerleaders and
came away with ZERO DEDUCTIONS, which in cheerleading terms is an outstanding achievement. We wish
Michael and his team SHOCKWAVE all the best as they compete against teams from all over Australia and
New Zealand on 2nd - 4th November. Michael Tompsett
ahoy me hearties!
