Velas Resorts announces the next opening of Grand Velas Los Cabos on Mexico´s Baja Peninsula. This is the fifth property of the family owned and operated company with over 20 years of tradition in hospitality.

The beachfront property will have enhanced signature facilities and services of Grand Velas resorts and unique spaces infusing every area of the resort. A gallery of contemporary art will continue the company’s commitment to bringing the art, fashion and culture of Mexico to guests.

Located between Cabo San Lucas and San Jose del Cabo, Grand Velas Los Cabos will feature 306 ocean view suites, all over 1,180 sq. ft. with private terraces and personal plunge pools. The curved, half-moon design of the hotel will catch eyes along the corridor with an iconic grand entrance that’s open air, three stories high and over 300 ft. above sea level. All of this beachfront, just 35 minutes from the Los Cabos International Airport which directly services over 40 destinations in the United States, Canada and Latin America.

Couples tying the knot can enjoy a wedding promotion at Casa Velas, a boutique adults-only hotel and ocean club located on the Marina Vallarta Golf Course in Puerto Vallarta. The new Presidential Wedding Experience includes the cost of arrangements for the ceremony and reception, including an intimate ceremony for 20 in the resort’s luxurious 5,564 sq. ft. Guests at Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit booking two or more spa treatments at its Leading Spa of the World now receive a designer swimsuit travel bag complimentary on departure. The waterproof bags are ideal for placing one’s swimsuit after time spent experiencing the spa’s seven step hydrothermal circuit before the treatment. The hour-long journey features a eucalyptus-scented steam room with chromotherapy, a bi-thermal pressure shower, peppermint ice fountain, hot and cold lagoons, sauna, hydro-reflexology, and Jacuzzi. They can also be used for wet swimsuits for the flight home and as a cosmetic bag. A neutral beige cover complements the bag’s bright orange interior lining.

Made in Guadalajara, Mexico, the bags are designed by Melín Castro, a prominent interior and fashion designer from Mexico. She is also responsible for the interior design and branding of Velas Resorts in Puerto Vallarta, Riviera Maya and Riviera Nayarit and a Los Cabos property opening in November.

The swimsuit bag is the latest VIP amenity available at the resort, which also includes handcrafted sunhats for certain suite categories. Available in a variety of colors, including black, pink, purple, blue, beige and brown, the hats are for use at the resorts and then to take home as a keepsake of a sun-kissed stay.

PREPARATION:

Blend all ingredients except the cookies. Rim the glass with Oreo cookie crumbs. Garnish with the Crunch bars.

• ½ lemon, juice only• 3 oz. lemon-lime soda• 1 oz. orange juice• 1 dash blue food coloring

PREPARATION:

Blend the soda with the juices and food coloring then pour into glass. Blend the Strawberry with the grenadine then pour in the glass on top so the mixtures don't combine with each other. Garnish with a Gummy Bear Kabob.
