Fathers Day Breakfast & Tabloid Sports
We hope all our Fathers, Grandfathers, Uncles and
Friends enjoyed sharing the morning with the
students. It was wonderful to see everyone being
involved and keeping active.
Hunter Life Education
Hunter Life Education and Healthy Harold
programs were well received by our students last
week. Please ensure you discuss the importance of
these programs with your children which aim to
motivate encourage and empower them to make life
choices for a healthy future, free from the harmful
effects of drugs.
A Convict Life Excursion 20th-21st October
Just a quick reminder, we still have 6 positions
available on the camp to Hyde Park Barracks,
Sydney. Classes from 3P, 3/4F and 4D will be
going on an excursion to Sydney to see what life
was like for the convicts during British
Colonisation. This will include an overnight stay at
the Hyde Park Barracks to learn about convict life.
All students have received a detailed information
note for parents to read through. As the excursion is
limited to 40 students will be taking the first 40 with
a signed permission note and a $10 deposit to the
office. Parents who have placed there name on
the expression of interest section will be notified
shortly if they are to attend.
Bookworm Program & Kindergarten
Orientation Our Bookworm program was such a successful 8
weeks. All our pre-schoolers who attended had a
wonderful time creating so many magical items
and making lots of new friends. Please keep an
eye out in the post for an invitation for our
Kindergarten Orientation. If you know of any
child living in your area that is turning 5 before
the 31st July 2016, please ask their parent to
contact the office.
Oakvale Farm Early Stage 1 Excursion All students in KW and K/1B have received a
permission note regarding an excursion to
Oakvale Farm at Salt Ash. The excursion will be
on 21st October, payment of $25 and a signed
permission note need to be returned to the office
by 14th October to secure your child’s place on
the bus.
Term 3 Break Students and staff will finish Term 3 on this
Friday 18th September. Term 4 will commence
on Tuesday 6th October for both students and
staff. We wish all our families a safe and happy
holiday break.
