Heart of Glendale Lodge No. 4005 celebrated 100 years on Saturday 23rd

November 2019. A Lodge meeting was held in the Masonic Hall, Berwick-

upon-Tweed, followed by an excellent Festive Board in the Guildhall.

Charge - Be very cautious whom you recommend as a candidate for mem-

bership. One false step on this point may be fatal. If you introduce a disputa-

tious person, confusion will be produced which may end in the dissolution of

the lodge. If you have a good lodge, keep it select. Great numbers are not al-

ways beneficial.

There will be no practice meeting on Sunday 15th

All Members are encouraged to attend all Practices. Any

Our Worshipful Master intends to hold several

‘fund-raising’ events during his year, including a Burns

Night (open to all), on Friday 21st February (time and

venue to be confirmed), and asks for the support of his

Brethren, by way of raffle donations and attendance at the

events. Further information to follow.

Brethren are particularly requested to notify the Secretary

of any errors, change of address/email/telephone

number.

Brethren, Subscriptions for the current year became due

on or in advance of, the 1st October, 2019 and are now

overdue. The Treasurer would appreciate prompt

payment to assist him in paying his bills.

Grand Lodge Emphasises the need to consult the

Grand Secretary, preferably in writing, if a

Brother is planning an overseas Masonic visit.
