April 2020 Issue
So much has changed since the March newsletter. In less than a month, life as we knew it has drastically shifted due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19). At the Hineshouse Property Management & Maintenance Services, we want you to know the health and safety of the 700+ individuals who reside on our properties as well as our 15 employees is our highest priority. Hinesville Housing Authority is working hard to care for the HPMMS residents during this national health crisis and trying to reduce panic while maintaining effective daily business operations. Here is what we are doing to protect you while continue to serve.
1. The Leasing Office will be closed to the public until further notice.
2. Staff will serve free breakfast and lunch at Regency Place and Cedar Walk III (Norwood Street) from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Monday—Friday. We will also continue our weekly food distribution program.
3. We are expediting the process to transition all systems, processes, and information to digital platforms.
4. We are monitoring the quickly changing situation and spread of the COVID-19 virus. We will actively listen and comply with the local government as well as following guidance from the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
