The two males were holding a lit lighter to the edge o the red paper which makes up a poppy in a photograph which has sparked outrage on the social networking website.  Yesterday the picture,  which emerged on Sunday,  was removed rom the  website. Arrests over burnt poppy  A MURDER investigation has been launched in Londonderry following the death of a 51-year-old man  who had been stabbed. The attack happened in the Francis Street area of the city at around 1.30pm on Tuesday. The victim was taken to hospital for treatment but later died.  A 34-year-old woman was arrested last night and is helping police with their inquiries. Stab attack victim dies Robinson calls for the long view SHORT- TERM soluti ons are not the way to handle an economic crisis, Peter Robinson told a Dublin audience last night.  Addressing a gathering o accountants, the frst minister praised the Republic’s avoidance o “simplistic” measures in handling its grave fnancial difculties. Speaking against the background o the economic crisis in Greece, he said such solutions are “no substitute or the difcult, long-term measures that are being taken”. Mr Robinson acknowledged that Northern Ireland had its own problems, including an over reliance on public sector employment. The DUP leader also said that strong inormal ties and good inrastructure will make or a better working relationship between Northern Ireland and the Republic. Mr Robinson said a good road, avourable exchange rate, a successul rugby team and a good speed dial contact  with a ministerial colleague  will do more or relations than any amount o North South Ministerial Council meetings. In other comments in the speech, he said that the Northern Ireland economy is expected to grow by around one per cent this year and by two per cent in 2012.
