Amy is shown with Roger Morsch, another of our members who made the trip to Houston to help. Amy reported the family is doing better and is more than grateful for having their home restored. Thanks to Amy and her club members as well as Chandler Horizon members who participated in the project, if not physically, at least from a financial standpoint. Club Assembly President Tiffany Jones and Greg Thornton conducted a Club Assembly. Tiffany talked about her goals for this year and noted she will be sending out emails with more informa- tion about them. She urged all of us to sign up for the various committees to carry on the work of the club throughout the year. She also stressed the importance of getting sponsors for our 26 th annual Hole-in-One Contest as soon as possible. Greg stressed Hole-in-One plans announced a few weeks previously, noting especially the eight standing committees. They are: Fundraising/Sponsors; 1. Public Relations/Marketing/Advertising; 2. Golfer Communication/Experience; 3. Operations/Scheduling; 4. Prizes, Daily and Overall; 5. Silent Auction/50-50 Drawing; 6. Finance; and 7. Wrap-up. 8. Several members have signed up for each of the committees. If you are not one of them, please see Greg today and let him know where you will serve. He reiterated the im- portance of getting the Fundraising/Sponsors com- mittee going NOW. It has been proved that we need a Signature Sponsor to be able to produce income like we have in the past. If you have any ideas, contact Greg. There was discussion about the Silent Auction, possibly expanding it and maybe moving it to a different location onsite. Those ideas will be taken under advisement and worked out.
