As we reach the end of Q3, enter the Spring season, and gear up for the last quarter of the year, we are happy to share that we continue to make progress on this year's endeavors and plan for the 2019-2020 School Year! We are thrilled to report that major headway has been made on the Student Lounge Project! Thanks to OMS parent-interior designer Dina Vacho, who has managed this entire project, we are closing in on the final step for this year's plan (aka Phase 1). So far, two sets of seating (wooden & wavy benches) have been re-upholstered, leaving only the modular seating left to be recovered. We also await the arrival of our first prototype charging station/table! Read more about the Student Lounge Project and view diagrams & photos on our webpage! The Spring Chocolate Sale will run March 18-26! The order form will be distributed on March 18--be on the lookout for it! Order pick up will be on Friday, April 5. Many thanks to our amazing chocolate partner, Carolina Chocolate Company, who makes their scrumptious chocolates in downtown Clover! Thank you for supporting OMS and for buying local! Volunteers are needed for this year's Olde English Consortium Academic Challenge Tournament on March 21! OMS and Clover Middle School are co-hosting this event at Lake Wylie Christian Assembly. If you, or someone you know, would like to help, please volunteer at www.signupgenius.com/go/20f0c48adaf23a3f49-academic. The link is also on our PTSO webpage. Our 2nd Annual Charlotte Knights Baseball Game is on Sunday, April 28! Join us for an afternoon of fun at BB&T Ballpark as the Knights host the Indianapolis Indians! The game starts at 2:05p. Tickets are available for $16 each. Want tickets? Email us with how many you'd like at [email protected] no later than Tuesday, March 26! 2019-2020 PTSO Elections will take place in the OMS Office May 1-3. Parents & guardians of current students and rising 6th graders are encouraged to stop by and vote. Those interested in serving on the Executive Board should download a Nomination Form from our webpage (available April 1) and turn it in by April 25. In PTSO Board news, we are thrilled to announce that Nana Cronan will assume the role of president when our current president, Larissa Pitts, moves to Minnesota at the end of March. We thank both ladies for their dedication to the PTSO and for leading with such enthusiasm! Our next meeting is at 8:30a on Friday, March 8, in the Cafeteria! Everyone is welcome to attend! Following our meeting, parents are invited to stay to participate in the Rachel's Challenge Focus Group! A Note from the PTSO Executive Board

Greetings, OMS!

As we reach the end of Q3, enter the Spring season, and gear up for the last quarter of the year, we are happy to share that we continue to make progress on this year's endeavors and plan for the 2019-2020 School Year! We are thrilled to report that major headway has been made on the Student Lounge Project! To qualify for contest entry, please ensure that student's name and home room teacher's name are written on the collection sheet or baggie! Teachers, staff members and interns are also eligible to win prizes--they simply need to write their name on their submission to be included in the drawing!
