September: Family Movie Night Movie-goers sipped the last tastes of summer air on Swanson’s Swing School grounds watching Disney-Pixar’s Coco.

Many thanks to Megan Hoberman and her leadership with the annual Family Movie Night. The 6th graders added to the theater experience selling popcorn, candy and drinks to help raise money for their end-of-year party.

October: Jammie Jog The clouds broke open to make way for yet another fantastic celebration of Fall at the 4th Annual Jammie Jog.

Please give a special thank you to Julie Hoffman for her efforts to lead a handful of volunteers to present the annual Swanson Jammie Jog to promote fitness and community.

This year presented a unique setting at Swanson’s Swing School grounds. Children and adults donned PJ’s while completing a 1-mile jog around the outdoor track.

We are excited to recognize top finishers, broken down into three age groups:

Grades K-1 Michael Lierler, Owen England, Jake Havens

Grades 2-3 Oliver Levy, Maya Sangalli, Arrow Hoffman

Grades 4-6 Mac Sledge, Hugh Sledge, Stella Sledge

Following the friendly race, The Pancake Man dazzled diners with his pancake flippery, serving 125 pancake eaters!

The 2nd grade class had the highest participation and has won a popcorn party!

Volunteers were Jim Sledge, Jeff Hoffman, Aiden Cramer-Brink, Grace Orr, Maggie Siler, Elizabeth Tighe, Angel Dimauro, Tania Atsou, Pedrianna Dyer, Megan Hoberman, Bryant England, and Tess Fogarty.

SUPPORTING OUR EDUCATORS DURING PARENT-TEACHER CONFERENCES Every year the Community Club provides dinner to the teachers and staff that give their time late into the evenings to meet with parents and guardians during Fall conferences. This year the teachers ate well with catering each night from Yum Roll and Clever Greens, both from Flagship Commons in Westroads Mall. Thank you to Jackie Proctor for organizing the food and Chrissta Mukherjee and Sarah Troia for taking care of the drinks.
