Words from Senior Pastor
We had been moving around in recent
months. As we paused our steps, we dis-
covered many things worthy of thanksgiv-
ing, particularly for our next generation.
Our core co-worker team had been
preaching on the pulpit in these past few
months; Pr. David & Pr. Sarah, Pr. Helen,
followed by Pr. Ezekiel & Charlotte, not
only did they preach but also lived the
word. Pr. Amos and I were listening and
we rejoiced with their competence. They humbled themselves to be
pruned and corrected, showing a great attitude. And we realized that
these young people whom we had spent years with them together had
truly grown mature. They have developed well not only in ministries, but
have matured much in God’s Word and inter-personal relationships.
They are showing increasing anointing in spousal relationships, in pasto-
ral, and in word ministry, as well to live out core values in GA611. Exam-
ple: Pr. Helen formerly claimed speech poverty, poor verbal skill when-
ever feeling tense, but she is now able to have faith and skill to deliver a
good sermon. Our core co-workers will continue with preaching on GA
Core Values, I am convinced there will be new discoveries and applica-
tions. We are grateful that our consistent nurturing & training on the
next generation are now bearing good fruits.
We are equally thankful that co-workers had taken step to move into PJ
area with the view to be closer to church. Co-workers who used to live
outside of PJ were often plagued by time wastage on the main roads due
to traffic jams. But now, having moved to PJ, time saved from traffic
jams may now be spent with children, on rest or on pastoral aspects.
Besides, children of our co-workers are a “bonus joy” to us. “My Harvest
My Home” class at church office is tailor-made for them with the pur-
pose that the next generation is well nurtured. These children often get
together in Church and it will be like their 2nd Home. Some of these
even study at the same school, then together at “My Harvest My Home”,
eating together, resting, homework time together, playing together and
awaiting parents to go home together! A group of children age range
from 1 – 11 can grow up together in the same environment, to be
friends is such a beautiful thing!
Ministering unto God’s people is rewarding as our own descendants shall
likewise be blessed and be felt by them. One of our co-worker’s son
named Jojo once said: Serving God carries with it “hidden benefit”!
Though none of us are in the “rich & famous” league, but God does grant
us blessings in various areas. Children can grow up in safe environment
with parents together, and given a good education at good schooling
environment, often also given a discounted school fee due to parents
being pastors. Children growing up in such situations pick up interactive
skills, learn to honor others, good characters developed, what used to be
difficult children turned into good children. Yet others used to be intro-
vert, non-relational, now able to open to interactions and bearing a
great smile. Often church office became a lot more lively owing to their
presence, as co-workers interacting with them often get energized and
recharged. These are some of the “hidden benefits” in serving God.
There are simply too many to say thank you to, because the grace of God
will remain numerous!■
A violent earthquake struck open the prison doors of Paul and Silas. The jailer was terrified because he knew it was the work of God, he consult-ed Paul and Silas the route to salvation. Paul replied: “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, you and your household.” (Acts 16:31). The jailer accepted Jesus and brought the Good News to his whole family. “Whole family” is Bayit in Hebrews, meaning house, household, family or home, inclusive of relatives.
1. Legacy (Proverb 13:22) Legacy is an eternal spiritual and relational heritage dedicated to God, which were protected by the blood of Jesus and empowered by the Holy Spirit. Salvation is the most precious legacy that surpassed mate-rial wealth, which ought to be inherited by everyone. We need to ponder: How would we feel when witnessing thousands of people were being saved except our partner, parents, children and relatives? Will you be Offended? Hard hearted? Abused? Indifferent? Lazy? Angered? Merciless? What made us fail to share the Good News with our family?
2. Wall of Deterrence of Good News A) The Wall of Spiritual Arrogance
Do we Christians belittle non-Christians? Since we are saved hence we dishonor those yet to believe? They may consider themselves outcast through our words, tone, facial expression and religious jargons.
B) The Wall of Offense We will build a wall to isolate ourselves from family members who offended us, however, it can be demolished by the act of for-giveness. We must forgive them prior to their repentance. They will then witness the love and forgiveness of God and encounter Him.
C) The Wall of a Critical Spirit Criticism of our hearts, such as: reluctant to visit someone with idols in their house. We must enter and forgo criticism as God will enter the house with us. God loves them even they still worshiping idols.
D) The Wall of Prayerlessness The Holy Spirit will act whenever we intercede for salvation of our family members. Likewise, our hearts were touched by someone’s prayer.
E) The Wall of Worldly Living Non-Christians will not notice any difference if the lifestyles of Christians remain of this world. On the contrary, they will consider Christians are hypocrites.
F) The Wall of Unbelief We may believe that God saves drug addicts, alcoholics or the weak, but has no spare capacity to save our family, this is a faith-less life. Faith is allowing salvation to enter our home.
G) The Wall of Fear The fear of rejection, anger and criticism will hinder our sharing of Good News with our family. Our fear becomes an excuse for family to reject the Good News. However, love conquers this category of fears. Give loves, get love in return; show mercy, get mercy in re-
turn.■【This sermon message was delivered on July 31, 2016.

Prayer FocusPrayer Focus God Wants To Live Among Us
Let Christians from all over the world support the return of the Jews through prayers and funding, so as to prepare for the coming of the Messiah. (Isaiah 49:22)
3. Church
Thanks be to God for our church will begin the "Wailing Wall" activi-ty to intercede for the salvation of family members. Please pray for brothers and sisters whose family have yet to accept Christ. Declare that "When a person is saved, the entire family will also be saved".
Ask God to rekindle that fire in our brothers and sisters' hearts, so that they'll be willing to rise up and shepherd more disciples.
4. Daughter Churches
GK611: Ask the Holy Spirit to grant our Sanctuary Building Com-mittee heavenly wisdom, and prepare a contractor that is in line with God's Will.
GC611: Please intercede for Pastor Jintana's health. Declare that God's complete healing will be upon her.
GI611: Please pray for the upcoming Youth Camp (20/8) and Children Outward Bound (14, 21, 28/8).
Materials for this week’s altar building:
“Shout and be glad, Daughter Zion. For I am coming, and I will live among you,” declares the Lord. (Zechariah 2: 10)
1. Land & Building
Thanks be to God for He has given us land and helped us to build the tabernacle in order to live among us.
Bless MBPJ with wisdom, strategy and competency so that they can manage PJ better.
Ask God to strengthen the faith of our church, that we will always have a heart of joy, prayer and thanksgiving when it comes to follow-ing God.
Ask God to grant our Sanctuary Building Committee prophetic words to encourage them in building the tabernacle.
Ask God to grant our brothers and sisters a heart that loves God. Even when they're flourishing in the marketplace, they'll still be will-ing to give themselves to God.
2. The Holy Land
Pray for peace to be upon Jerusalem. Declare that God will become Jerusalem's firewall and be glorified.
