Diary

I created a visual record of my parents time with us in

New Zealand. It took the form of a diary, composing

photographs we took with simple typography for the daily

entries, and each day of the trip was presented with an

A5 landscape double-spread.

The finished piece was printed as 18 separate spreads

rather than in booklet form so my parents had the option

to place the pages on the wall.

I kept to a grid of three columns for the diary text and

the map and date were always in the same position, but

the pictures were placed with a bit more freedom.
