Need your High School Diploma?
Did you start college without earning your high school diploma or equivalent? Is it keeping you from receiving financial aid? Harder to get employed?
GOOD NEWS!
Accomplish 2 Goals: You can earn your high school diploma at the same time you are earning your college degree, certificate or preparing to transfer.
It’s Easier Than You Think. College units you have already earned could count towards earning your high school diploma, AND earning your diploma through an LAUSD adult school requires fewer credits than you needed to graduate from high school as a minor.
Earn your high school diploma while you go to college through West’s FREE College
Through our partnership with the Los Angeles Technology Center (LAUSD adult school), we can help you:
Get your high school and LACCD college transcripts to see what you’ve already passed
Review your high school and college transcripts and tell you what credits/courses you might still need for a high school diploma
Identify the college courses you can take that will count towards your high school diploma (i.e. if you pass Political Science 1 in college, you earn 3 college units and 5 high school credits that are required for a high school diploma)
Figure out the fastest way for you to earn your high school diploma Get qualified for financial aid as quickly as possible Prepare to pass the high school equivalency test if you need it
Contact Free College at (310) 287-4546 or [email protected] or visit our webpage at www.wlac.edu/Free-College
