re-enact an act entitled an act to regulate the oyster fisheries on the bays and coast of tbe Stat*.- of Louisiana, being net No. 18 of tbe regular session of 1870, report. .1 by tbe committee, passed its second reading, and was considered as engrossed.

The constitutional rule being suspended, tlifbill was put upon its third reading and filial passage, its title adopted, and it was ordered to be sent to tbe Senate for con­currence.

Mr. Ringgold, of Orleans, moved a recon­sideration of tlic vote whereby tbe bill was finally passed, and also moved to lay tbe motion to reconsider upen tbe table.

Carried.Mouse bill No. 65, an act to establish

hospital for small-pox and other contagious diseases, was-read.

The amendments recommended by the committee were adopted.

The bill as amended passed its second reading, and was considered as engrossed.
