LET’S TALK SALE BULLS

What makes Kenny's Creek bulls different? Firstly, all the sale bulls have undergone a full veterinary supervised serving test. So your new bull should have no trouble getting the

cows in calf. Secondly, these bulls have only been fed on grass and grazing crops their entire lives. They do it naturally here so they can perform anywhere. All the bulls in the catalogue offer something in terms of growth, fertility and carcase. We're very proud of this year's line up and have collected some semen for AI use at Kenny's Creek. The bulls we've taken semen from include:

• Heifer bulls: L217 (1st Proceed son at sale) and L463 (flush brother to Knowla Jeopardize J15).

• Cow bulls: L123, L211 and L458.

LOT 7: KENNY’S CREEK CHISUM L446

L446 is the highest IMF% Chisum son in Australia. The dam H170 is a donor cow who died young and a flush sister to H768, who is the dam of lot 80 L194. H170 is also a full sister to the Regent cow H169 sold to KO Angus. EBV's show high growth, positive fat and strong carcase merit. Watch the video below:

Top 1% carcase weight. Top 5% 200 and 400 day. Top 10% EMA, 600 day, rib and rump fat.

LOT 29: KENNY’S CREEK INTENSITY L123

L123 is the highest two year old bull for 200 and 400 day growth for sale in Australia. Additionally, L123, L105 and L150 are the top three Intensity sons for 200 and 400 day growth in Australia. The grand dam of L123 is C189 who is the dam of G213. G213 sold to Wattletop and has 340 recorded progeny. This bull has 10 traits in the top 10% of all Breedplan indexes. Watch the video below:

LOT 36: KENNY’S CREEK REGENT L458

L458 is the highest ranked IMF% two year old bull available for sale in Australia. Huge IMF of +4.6. Semen has been collected from this bull for use in Spring 2017. He is out of a donor cow, D147 and is a well muscled bull with great sire potential. Flush brother to lot 45 L441. Watch the video below:

PRE-REGISTER FOR THE SALE

Pre-registrations go into the draw to WIN a whole MB2 + Striploin 150 day Grain Fed Angus (approx. 6kg).

150 day grain fed beef from The Mount feedlot. The steak on the right we cooked over coals for 3 mins on high heat and then left in smoker for 10 mins to rest before

serving. It was incredible.

MACK TRUCK

This is our new Mack truck that we just purchased for Bellevue Station in North Queensland. What a classic! It will be used to deliver our Brangus bulls (bred at Breakfast Creek Station) out to the paddocks over the 1200km of internal roads we maintain annually. For over 20 years we have been selecting angus cows for their northern attributes which include: mobility, fertility, fat and longevity.
