IIBA New Jersey Chapter Partnership Program

Effective May 1, 2013

Overview

The IIBA New Jersey Chapter is pleased to announce our new Partnership Program which provides

organizations with an opportunity to help support the growth of the New Jersey Business Analyst

community and to obtain visibility in the community. A true partnership is one where both parties

benefit and with this in mind, we have designed this program to provide a win-win for the IIBA New

Jersey Chapter and our partners.

What is the IIBA ?

The mission of the IIBA is to develop and maintain standards for the practice of Business Analysis and forthe certification of its practitioners. The vision of the IIBA is to be the leading worldwide professional

association for Business Analysts. The strategic objectives of the IIBA include:

Creating and developing awareness and recognition of the value and contribution of the BusinessAnalyst

Defining and promoting the Business Analysis Body of Knowledge (BABOK) Providing a forum for knowledge for sharing and contribution to the Business Analysis profession Publicly recognizing and certifying qualified practitioners through an internationally acknowledged

certification program

What is the IIBA New Jersey Chapter ?The IIBA New Jersey Chapter is the local chapter of the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA)

and serves the New Jersey Business Analyst community. The chapter was formed in 2007 and has grown

over the years. At the Building Business Capability (BBC) conference in 2011, our chapter received an

award for Best Chapter for Professional Development from the IIBA.The IIBA New Jersey Chapter worksto strengthen the awareness and understanding of the Business Analyst profession in New Jersey and

beyond.

The IIBA New Jersey chapter provides value to the New Jersey Business Analyst community by:

Promoting recognition and appreciation of the business analysis profession with local companies,universities and professional associations

Developing business analysis professionalism by providing a variety of stimulating, high qualityprograms on a monthly basis

Fostering the development of study groups for Business Analysts to prepare for the CCBA and CBAPcertification exams
