A New Anointing Coming!

God anoints to set people apart for His purposes and with His power.Prophets, kings, priests in OT: oil on head

Christ = anointed one

Acts 10:38: how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and power, and how He went around doing good and healing all who were under the power of the devil, because God was with him.

A New Anointing Coming!

God is raising up an end-time army anointed to bring in the final harvest.

God is anointing His children who will imitate the ministry of Jesus: Is. 61: 1-3

Isaiah 61:1-2

The Spirit of the Sovereign LORD is on me, because the LORD has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners,to proclaim the year of the LORDs favor and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn,

Isaiah 61:3

and provide for those who grieve in Zion:to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the LORD for the display of his splendor.

No greater need everyone has

No greater satisfaction for the messenger

No greater honor for the Lord!

The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the devil's work. (1 John 3:8)

Heal the sick... drive out demons. (Matt 10:8)

"Lord, even the demons submit to us in your name." (Luke 10:17)

Time to Answer the Call

Are we willing to be anointed to minister like Jesus did?

Are we willing to pay the price to walk closely with God?

Are we willing to make adjustments in our lives to win the lost, heal the sick and deliver the oppressed?

Revival Demands Change

Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective. (James 5:16)

"I dwell on a high and holy place, And also with the contrite and lowly of spirit In order to revive the spirit of the lowly And to revive the heart of the contrite.

Revival Is Hard Work

Anyone praying for revival needs to be prepared. I compare it to war. It's like training for battle, and when battle breaks out, there's absolutely no rest...It's grueling hard work.

God never puts revival on the sale table. It'll cost you everything.

God only comes to those who are hungry and thirsty. He's not interested in appeasing people and just satisfying their whims.

Jesus Is Calling
