BLOCK ASSEMBLY1. Sew (1) C 3 1/2” x 6 1/2" stripto the bottom of (1) E 6 1/2" square to make CE set.

2. Sew (1) D 3 1/2" square to the end of(1) C 3 1/2” x 6 1/2" strip to make DC set.

3. Sew (1) DC set to the rightside of the CE set matching Eand C pieces. Square to 9 ½”.

4. Sew (1) A 3 1/2" x 9 1/2" strip to thebottom of (1) EDC square – making sure the E square is in the upper leftcorner.

5. Sew (1) B 3 1/2" squareto the bottom of (1) A 3 1/2" x 9 1/2" strip.

6. Sew (1) AB set to the rightside of the ECDA set to completethe block. Square to 12 ½”.

Repeat Steps 1-6 to make (20) Blocks.

QUILT ASSEMBLY7. Using (4) F 2” x 12 ½” strips and (3) D 2” squares sew together as shown to create sashing strip row. Make (4) sashing strip rows.

8. Following Quilt Diagram sew Blocks (note rotation), sashing strips and sashing strip rows together to complete Quilt Center.

BORDER ASSEMBLYMeasure width and length of quilt top to ensure border cutting sizes. Below are our sizes.

9. Border D – Sew (1) D 2” x (66 ½”) border strip to each side of Quilt Center. Sew (1) D 2” x (56”) border strip to the top and bottom of Quilt Center.

10. Border G – Sew (1) G 3 ½” x (69 ½”) border strip to each side of Quilt Center. Sew (1) G 3 ½” x (62 ½”) border strip to the top and bottom of Quilt Center.

FINISHING Cut batting and backing 3” larger than top on all sides. Layer backing, batting and top and baste or pin. When quilting is completed, trim excess batting and backing. Bind as usual.
