    BACKGROUND STORY

    A demon of the burning legion so abhorred that he makes the skin of even his fellow demons crawl, Nevermore is acreature of the shadows that consumes the souls of those around him. When the Shadow Fiend comes forth to battle,he augments his power with the souls he has consumed, bearing down on his enemies with spiritually enhancedattacks and powerful spiritual blasts. The Shadow Fiend is a terrifying opponent whom few have survived, and thosewho have perished under his tyranny have faced the most despicable fate of all.

    Necromastery

    Whenever the Shadow Fiend kills a target, he stores the unfortunate soul inside of him. For each stored soul hegains 2 bonus damage until his own death releases half of them from bondage.

    Being an Aura, this skill also affects units with Spell Immunity.

    The aura stacks with other armor reduction skills such as Poison Touch and Amplify Damage. Also, itemssuch as Stygian Desolator and Assault Cuirass.

    Requiem of Souls

    Summons evil spirits around you dealing damage to units in the area. Number of spirits is related to the number ofsouls stored and the movement/damage reduction is related to the distance from the Shadow Fiend. Lowersmovement speed and damage of nearby units. The closer the units are the greater the effect.

    The damage of Requiem of Souls is 100% dependent on Necromastery .

    Purge removes both the slow and the damage reduction.

    The reduction stated in the skill applies to both Movement Speed and Attack Damage and affects enemyunits in a 700AoE.

    For every two souls captured by Necromastery (Stores max of 30), one line is created in his ultimate, for amaximum of 15 lines. These lines are actually Carrion Swarms, which each deal the stated damage in acone shape starting from Nevermore. They are shot out uniformly from Nevermore, with the first lineextending directly to the East of Nevermore; in other words, the angle between each line is given by 360degrees / # of lines. Because each line has a cone shape, their AoEoverlap heavily, especially close toNevermore. Therefore enemy units close to Nevermore suffer much more damage from Requiem of Soulsthan units far away.

    It is possible to cause an enemy to take damage from every single line with the help of Lothar's EdgeorPhase Boots, which can removes the collision from the active ability Wind Walk or Phase. W ithout collision,it allows Nevermore's model and the enemy's model to overlap which will cause the lines to spawn on top ofboth units, with every single one dealing damage to the hapless enemy.
