The NETWORK

• Network funded on CIP-ICT PSP (3/2009) Objective 3.4: “Defining Guidelines for user centricity“

• Duration 3 years, start April 2010 – end March 2013

• Aim: development of a network of stakeholders in the Governance and Service to User Modeling domains (massive on-line service fruition and eInclusion policies)

• How: to create, animate and manage a network of experienced organizations covering the whole supply chain of the service for users (S4U)

NET-EUCEN’s targetsT1 Establish communication between

sectoral S4U communities;T2 Identify next steps in terms of research

or integrationT3 Provide the EC with a set of guidelines T4 Support interoperability and standardsT5 Awareness raising T6 Promoting co-operation and clustering

approachesT7 Enlarge the dynamic networkT8 Identify market opportunities

External assessment

• Web-portal / Access to Network partners• Scenarios available on line

– DEMO scenarios as “public” – no interacion– PLAY scenarios only for interested / network

• Feedback after each “game session”– On line assessment only if all actors are logged

or– Agent simulation for substituing missing actor

Scenarios

Networking

Network of European Stakeholders for Enhance User Centricity in eGovernance

Page 12: NET-EUCEN project on citizen-centric e-governance

• Role– Definition of scenarios and services– Communication of local / Country policies about ICTs,

eGovernment, eInclusion

• Benefit– Validation of ad-hoc services for users representing the

community– Possibility to set-up innovative services with the

support of consultancy team experts– Possibility to deploy the business models developed

within the project

The Public Administrations

Network of European Stakeholders for Enhance User Centricity in eGovernance

Page 13: NET-EUCEN project on citizen-centric e-governance

• Role– Communication among partners and represented

project clusters– Added-value co-operative activities– Analysis of the sustainability of developed solutions– Dissemination of results and scouting of members for

the enlarged network

• Benefit– Possibility to assist and/or sell (even partial) services

and developed business models to P.A. / interested organisations

– Possibility to provide consultancy during service provision

T.T. / Consultancy companies

Network of European Stakeholders for Enhance User Centricity in eGovernance

Page 14: NET-EUCEN project on citizen-centric e-governance

• Role– Technical and feasibility analysis of SW solutions to be

developed into the scenarios– Analysis of requirements for security and

interoperability issues

• Benefit– Potential developers of ICT support for innovative

solutions validated during the project and set-up by future clients (pilot testers)

Industries / developers

Network of European Stakeholders for Enhance User Centricity in eGovernance

Page 15: NET-EUCEN project on citizen-centric e-governance

• Role– Share knowledge about ICTs and methodologies for

the SoA and future SW applications (foresight)– Fornitori di tecnologia per la messa in opera dei

“games” per la simulazione dei servizi.

• Benefit– Potential solutions to patent, participation to the

revenues;– Potential developers of innovative and experimental

applications

Universities, R&D Centres

Page 16: NET-EUCEN project on citizen-centric e-governance

• Role– Analysis of the best practices in Europe– Identification of potential R&D developments– Scenarios validation (service simulation)– Services deployment plans validation

• Benefit– Possibility to provide “ad-hoc” consultancy to P.A.

within the service provision– Increase of competences and knowledge

Policy Makers and Experts

Network of European Stakeholders for Enhance User Centricity in eGovernance

Page 17: NET-EUCEN project on citizen-centric e-governance

• Role *– Provide ideas for services and scenarios– Participation to co-operative events– Scenario validation* To be involved into the enlarged network

• Benefit– Deployment of “ad-hoc” services for the Community /

Association they belong to– Mutual knowledge, contact and opinion share with

other Communities / Associations about user-centered services

User Communities

Synergies for “new services”• The network for development and

assessment of innovative services

• Organisations / people working in “user centered services” and Users Associations maybe interested in join the network as external additional partners

• Experts maybe interested in join the assessment phase
