Origin •  The term

benchmarking was first used by cobblers to measure people's feet for shoes. They would place someone's foot on a "bench" and mark it out to make the pattern for the shoes.

The Adjustable 5 Yr Projection tool allows you to project different changes for each year.

You will need to follow the same steps as the Fixed 5 yr. Projection but now you will enter your forecasted numbers for each year individually.

•  NAIS collects data on a vast array of subjects and most of this is available for the user to pull as needed – comparison groups, multi-variable analysis, trend analysis, compensation information and more is available.

Selecting Variables Click the ‘Variable Family’ dropdown menu to select a variable family to choose variables from.

Select variables by clicking on the check box next to each variable.

Click on the ‘Add Variable’ button to move the selected variables to the ‘Selected Variables’ column.
