Bringing Parks Closer to Home Parks in the Sky Residents can look forward to sky parks created atop the multi-storey car parks (MSCP) and neighbourhood centre where the community comes together and experience hobby farming and gardening at the community gardens. The ’Sky Galleria’ – an elevated landscaped linkway designed with sheltered seating areas, lookout points and fitness stations links the sky parks and offers views of the surrounding greenery. Parks on the Ground Just as parks are a sanctuary from traffic, the ground level of the development is designed as a pedestrian-friendly landscape with limited vehicular access to enhance connectivity to facilities and transport nodes throughout the precinct. More generous landscaped community spaces are created for residents to exercise, relax and interact with neighbours in a safe, park-like environment. Neighbourhood Centre as a Social & Wellness Hub Multi-Storey Car Park (MSCP) as Precinct’s Community Hub Designing for Smart and Sustainability The Neighbourhood Centre will feature a range of well-being choices that encourage residents to adopt an active and healthy lifestyle. It will be anchored by a new Polyclinic and supported by health promotion events, wellness retail offerings, and eateries offering healthy food selections. A place offering both respite and connectivity, the community plaza is designed as a green canyon, filled with lush greenery that extends out into the Farmway. It is also a place where residents can participate in social and lifestyle activities together. To enhance connectivity across residential blocks and encourage interaction among residents, the parking decks of the multi-storey car park are elevated to create meaningful sheltered community spaces on the ground floor. Beyond reclaiming the ground level, other parts of the car parks are also designed to provide more exercise opportunities for residents. Through Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) simulations, building blocks were oriented to optimise wind flow. Solar irradiance studies were also conducted to identify areas of high solar exposure for the deployment of solar panels. Smart Design through Evironmental Simulations Infrastructure for electric vehicle charging lots will be provided to encourage residents to opt for greener vehicles. Electric Vehicle Charging To increase the amount of renewable energy harvested, vertical and horizontal solar photovoltaic (PV) panels will be integrated as part of the roof features of the residential blocks to support Centralised Cooling Systems and Electric Vehicle chargers. Residents can also make use of an app to monitor household energy consumption and actively take steps to promote sustainable living. Designing for Smart and Sustainability

The Neighbourhood Centre will feature a range of well-being choices that encourage residents to adopt an active and healthy lifestyle. It will be anchored by a new Polyclinic and supported by health promotion events, wellness retail offerings, and eateries offering healthy food selections. A place offering both respite and connectivity, the community plaza is designed as a green canyon, filled with lush greenery that extends out into the Farmway. It is also a place where residents can participate in social and lifestyle activities together.

To enhance connectivity across residential blocks and encourage interaction among residents, the parking decks of the multi-storey car park are elevated to create meaningful sheltered community spaces on the ground floor. Beyond reclaiming the ground level, other parts of the car parks are also designed to provide more exercise opportunities for residents.
