Mode of propagation – By seeds, stem cuttings and tillers.

Habit – Sub-scandent herb

Marathi name – Shatavari

Botanical Name - Asparagus racemosus

Medicinal use- Leucorrhoea, fatigue, abortions and general debility.Other uses- Plant is ornamental and attractive.Propagation- By seed

Soil- Loose,well drained, rich soil.Watering- Regular and moderately heavy.Special care- Proper support.

Habit- Climber (Annual aerial stem & perennial underground stem and rootstock)
