Make field inspections of industrial, commercial and residential buildings during various stages of

construction and remodeling; inspect foundation, cement, framing, plastering, plumbing and

heating installations.

Perform field review of plans and specifications; perform office plan check of residential

structures and commercial/industrial projects as assigned.

Assure proper cleanup and installation of steps, landings, rails and other safety factors.

Inspected buildings and structures in the process of construction or repair for compliance with all

requirements of applicable ordinances and laws.

Inspected existing buildings and structures to insure their conformity with safety standards.

Investigated complaints and assisted in prosecuting violations of the building code and zoning

ordinances.

Made adjustments and corrections to drawings, plans and blueprints from 'as built' information

received from construction field notes and coordinates the information between City crews and

the contractors on projects.

Monitor and ensure that a comprehensive record of documentation and certification of work is

maintained and assist in the satisfactory handover of the completed project to the client

Ensure the field construction organization is monitoring the Quality of the work in accordance

with the approved Site Quality Plan, Inspection and Test Plan (ITP’s) Method Statement.

Ensure proper control of changes brought about by Technical Queries (TQ’s), Advance revision

Notice (ARN), Field Instructions (FI’s) etc.

Ensure the compliance of the chemical and physical test certificate for all materials, calibration

certificate for all instruments which require such documentation in accordance with specification,

codes, and standards.

Verify that reported errors, flaws, or items that do not conform to specifications have been

corrected and the actions taken have been correctly recorded.

Assist in the audit carried out on the constructions site organization by the Project Quality

Assurance Manager.

Prepare and distribute reports on the audit activities in relation to QC activities.

In conjunction with Turnover Engineering Department, ensure that the completion and handover

procedures are agreed with the client and that the quality records accumulated, indexed and

available to support a phased systematic acceptance and handover of the project to the client.

These records are maintained and ready for audit at all times throughout the project until initial

acceptance.
