Starting July 7th Confessions will be every Saturday at 3:00 p.m. or by appointment. The last day for Confessions during the week at 8:30 a.m. will be on Friday, July 6th. Thank you for your understanding!

Friends & Fellowship The next free meal will be Sunday, July 8, from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. The Salvation Army will prepare the meal. This meal is for anyone in our area who needs a free meal or just some company and fellowship. Thanks to our parish groups and Newark organizations who help us in this good cause, including the committee members.

Friday Night Devotion of Eucharistic Adoration We are inviting everyone to participate in our Friday Night Devotion of Eucharistic Adoration every last Friday of each month. The Blessed Sacrament will be exposed in the Chapel from 6:00 p.m. until 12 midnight. We will have this devotion on June 29th. We would like to ask for more adores from 6-7 p.m. Sometimes is only one person at that time. Thank you for spending time with the Lord!

Bible Study Thursday evening Bible Study group began a 5-week study of “Pilgrim People” on Thursday, June 22, at 7:30 p.m. in classroom #8 at St. Edward School. Everyone is welcome.

Retreat Rachel’s Vineyard Retreat is a special place to renew and redeem hearts broken by the loss of a child through miscarriage, abortion, and Sudden Infant Death (SIDS). The retreats are for women and men who are grieving the pain and loss and seek healing. Catechetical Congress Congreso Catequético

The annual diocesan Catechetical Congress/Congreso Catequético, open to the public, will be held Aug. 11, 8:15 a.m. to 4 p.m., at Bishop O’Dowd High School, 9500 Stearns Ave., Oakland. Speakers include the vice president of Life Teen, the executive director of Courage International, and the director of evangelization and parish life for the Miami Archdiocese, along with Bishop Michael Barber and local experts.
