INTERNATIONAL STUDENT SCHOLARSHIP
1
For International Graduate Freshman1. All international graduate freshmen will be awarded monthly scholarship NTD
8,000 (~USD 267) for the first semester (4.5 months).For International Graduate Students who have completed the first semester. 2. All international graduate students who meet eligibility requirements will be
awarded upon application. Application period is within 3 weeks of each new semester.
3. Eligibility requirements: a) Scored academic grade average 80, and take at least 4 credits per semester. ≧
Monthly scholarship of NTD 8,000 (~UDS 267) for 1 semester (4.5 months).b) Bonus NTD 14,000 (~USD466) each month if applicant was ranked 1st in class
in the previous semester.
Total scholarship up to NTD 99,000 per semester !!!

PROJECT RESEARCH ASSISTANCE SCHOLARSHIP

• Research assistance offered by advisor NTD 4,000 (~USD 133) per month for 9 months (1 academic year).
• Granted by respective advisor.
• Quota: 1 recipient per advisor
• Recipient is expected to fulfill obligations as research assistance and hold a valid work permit.
TEACHING ASSISTANCE SCHOLARSHIP

• Teaching assistance offered by Dept. of Energy Engineering NTD 3,000 (~USD 100) per month.
• Quota: 2 recipients per semester
• Recipient is expected to fulfill obligations as teaching assistance and hold a valid work permit.

Honors Scholarship4
• Students who ranked first in each class with conduct grade over 80 will receive scholarship NTD 5,000 (~USD 167).
• Students who ranked second in each class with conduct grade over 80 will receive scholarship NTD 3,000 (~USD 100).
• Students who met the above criteria but have withdraw/drop a course in the previous semester are not entitled to receive the Honors Scholarship.
• Students are automatically reviewed. No application required.
International Affair Part-Time Scholarship

• International students proficient in English (TOEIC 550 and above) and Chinese (TOCFL A2 and above).
• Scholarship NTD 2,000 (~USD 66) per month.
• Quota: 2 recipients per semester.
• Recipient is expected to fulfill obligations as part-time student worker at Office of Research and Development and hold a valid work permit.
Apply Now!Students with international qualifications must have completed undergraduate or graduate studies.
Application Procedure• A completed application package must include the following documents. Applicants may submit in-person,
by mail, or by e-mail. Original verified certificates and transcripts shall be submitted upon registration.

2. Two 2-inch passport photo, one of which needs to be attached on the application form
3. Two photocopies of completed application form
4. A photocopy of passport. (Signature page and data page)
5. One photocopy of university diploma with verification by Taipei Economic and Cultural Office
6. One photocopy of completed all-year official transcripts in English
7. One photocopy of bank statement with a minimum balance of USD 3,200 or NTD 100,000 within 3 months. (If the certificate is not in the name of the applicant, a signed statement of financial sponsorship is required)
