passport in person. Prepare application form, 2 photos (2”x 2”) ,

Documents used as proof of identity . Bring the Certificate of Lost Passport to the

embassy or consulate of your home country to apply for a new passport.

You need to go to NIA Service Center to update the information after obtaining your new passport or travel document.

A1: If you continue to study in Taiwan, and your period of overstay is less than 30 days, you may re-apply for ARC extension after paying the fine.

A2: If you overstayed for over 29 days, you cannot re-apply for an ARC in Taiwan.You must pay the penalty and leave Taiwan. Apply a new visa to re-enter Taiwan and submit a new ARC application again.
