Mpho is currently a Level 4 student in the Education and Development programme. She completed her Work-based Experience (WBE) at Cuddle Care Day Care Centre. This was an enjoyable experience for her because she realised working with children is her passion.

Her host teacher noticed that Mpho is good at what she does and asked her to present a lesson to the class. Mpho decided to present a life skills lesson. Her activities catered for children with various skills and abilities.

Mpho, however, had challenges in arriving on time at the day care centre. When the principal of the school addressed this problem, Mpho ignored her and walked away disrespectfully.

During naptime, Mpho took the opportunity to write her experiences at the school in her journal. She also included a reflection of the lesson she completed with the learners.
