This task overview sheet is designed to be used by parents and pupils in the event of a school closure. Tasks and activities do not need to be completed in
the order that they are written. Once a task is completed write the date that it was completed underneath the task. Please return this task sheet to

Re – Islam – Eid
As you know Ramadan is an Islamic celebration
and started last month. It is coming to an end
soon and Muslims will be taking part in
celebrations called Eid. Look at the power point
9ind learn about Eid. (A version will be accessible
on the school website on your class page.)
Task 1
Learn more about Eid by completing the Eid
comprehension. Read the text and answer the
questions on the sheet below. See below for the resource
Task 2
Doing good deeds is a very important part of
Ramadan. Choose a good deed to do every day
for the thirty days of Ramadan. When you have
done your good deed for the first time, write it
down on a piece of the paper chain and link it to
the others. How long will your paper chain grow?

During the celebrations female Muslims
decorate their arms and hands using henna,
these designs are known as Mehndi

Welsh – The weather
Go through the welsh vocabulary found below to
recap what you know already about the weather.
Week 1 – Create a weather forecast of today’s
weather in Wales. On the template label
different places in weathers and then create
weather symbols and draw onto your map. Then
write sentences describing the weather in each
of the place. Remember to use the negative
(what the weather isn’t)

Why not film yourself tell the weather and put
up on class dojo for us to see!
Week 2 –
You have used the present tense to tell the
weather. Now, you’re going to have a go at using
the past tense. Have a look at the weather
power point on your class page on the school
website. I would like you to create a weather
diary for a week. So, label your date in welsh and
you can draw a picture of the weather. Write
under the picture what the weather was like.
Try and write as much detail as you can.
If you’re struggling with the Yr 4 text then try the Yr 3 one.

How much sugar are in children’s drinks
experiment?
1) Find bottles or cans of drinks in your
home.
2) Use the nutritional label on the side of
the bottle to calculate how much sugar
the drink contains.
3) Weigh that amount of sugar.
4) Compare the sugar found in different
drinks.

arrange the food and how are you going to let

to do to carry out the activities.

workout.

Create your own food rainbow. Draw a rainbow
and fill it with healthy fruit and veg that

virtual sports day!

What information can you add? Can you upskill your
information? Check your verbs can they be more
powerful?
Add information/ detail to your first draft. Check your
spelling and punctuation, use a dictionary to help you
correct.
To write a neat final copy of your workout and activity
cards.
In your best handwriting write out your script for your
workout including your activity cards with all your
improvements added. Your Activity cards can be typed
using your hwb office 365 on a word document or slides on
powerpoint.
Speaking and Listening Activity.

family with you as the instructor! If you can film your
workout and add to your portfolio on class pages, we would
