The Rev. Jack H. Mansfield, pastor of the First ~t Church,Raeford, will be the visiting evangelist during revival services at NewHope Baptist Church, March 3D-April 5, 7:30 p.m. each evening. Anative of Georgia, Mansfield was graduated from Mercer University,Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, and the School ofPastoral Care, Baptist Hospital, Winston-Salem. In 1966 he went ona preaching mission to Jamaica, sponsored by the Foreign MissionBoard of the Southern Baptist Convention. He has held pastorates inMiami, the state of Georgia, and this state. In addition to hispastoral duties his abilities have been used well in manyresponsibilities of the denomination. He is no stranger to ColumbusCounty, having served the Tabor City Baptist Chapel before going toRaeford.

Southside establishing a mission onLake Norman that has grownrapidly and now is constituted asPeninsula Baptist Church.
