With Indians being 'optimistic' astheyareof'futureprosperity', timeis ripe for the current employedpopulation to de-phase itself fromtheir employers and becomeindependent, bothinthinkingandinaccepting retirement. The Government of India throughthe Prime Minister's scheme isbringing about a higher socialsecuritynetwithapersonalaccidentcover, pension cover and l i feinsurance cover whose viabilityneedstobeveriied in theyears tocome.
