Different from the N5 by its round windows, lower belt rail, large streamlinedcoup la, and no vertical butt strip in its sides.Body is injection molded plastic with a separate roof, one piece molded trucks with 33" wheels. Placepickups on truck frame and snap in brasswheels. Drill a 1jI8hole in floor ifnecessary.Wires from th9 bulb can be twisted ontopickup or soldered in place.

PRR N-5 CABOOSEThe N-5 is the world's first all steel cabin car. Produced in 1914 by Lines East these cars were equipped with archbar, leaf spring trucksand small tool boxes under their sides. While it was referred to as a center cupola, the N-5 cupola was actually 12 112"off center.It had a brake lever on each end of the platform instead of the brake wheel. Over the years some changes occured. the top lights andtool boxes were removed, Ajax brake wheels replaced the brake levers, AB brakes replaced theK style, and coil spring trucks replacedby leaf spring trucks. New end sills, collision posts and new end railings were added. The stove and chimney were moved from theend of the car closer to the cupola. There were a total of 616 cars built in this era.Body is injection molded plastic with a separate roof, one piece molded trucks with 33" wheels, and X2f couplers. Couplerpocket accepts KD #5. Antenna support system not included. (DriU spots for locating antenna system supports are moldedinto underside of roof).
