• Saks is an exclusive department store in the heart of New York City.
• The first thing I bought from Saks was a Coach handbag
• It has the best window displays in the world

The Brooklyn Bridge
• The first day in NYC I walked over the Brooklyn Bridge
• The bridge cost over $15.1 million and approximately 27 people died during the construction
• It took 14 years to complete starting in 1869

Times Square• Times Square was one of the
busiest streets that I have ever walked on, but very exciting!
• In 1999 for the millennium New Year approximately 2 million overflowed Times Square

The Empire State Building
The Empire State Building is a 102-story Art Deco skyscraper
The first picture is taken from the top floor of the Empire State building
After the destruction of the Word Trade Center, the Empire State Building became the largest building in New York City

Rockefeller Center
• I went for lunch at the café at Rockefeller Center, and it was excellent
• Known for the big Christmas tree with 30,000 coloured lights

Wall Street is known to be a historical heart of the Financial District
It was built in 1914

• I took this photograph as we passed the Statue of Liberty• The Statue of Liberty was a gift from France• She stands for freedom and democracy and international friendship
