Ruslan Almazovich is my trainerHe was born on May 27, 1983, in Kazan.He started to do sport sambo at the age of 11. He trained at the sport club “Batyr”.He has many awards, medals and victories. He is a champion of Russia of 2003. He is a winner of some Volga (Privolzhsky) Federal District Championships.

According to my trainer, sports can help boys understand that no one's perfect, that it's OK to lose sometimes and that failure helps build future success. Sport helps us to build a character . If you are successful in sport you are successful everywhere.

Sambo

Sambo enters the list of mass sports in Russia. Over 400,000 people do sambo these days. It's possibly one of few sports invented in Russia that gained popularity not only within the country but in 84 countries of the world.As an optional sport, sambo was included in the programme of the 2013 Summer Universiade for the first time.
