My Logos

This is the logo I designed for myself, to be used on business cards. The old-style microscope represents UX, a field that requires close examination and that is grounded in established methodology. The orange is meant to modern, vibrant and friendly.

I designed this quic kly fo r my proposed E lbow Room app bec ause I applied fo r a summer inc ubato r on a whim, and needed a logo fo r my “sta rtup.” I started with the F utura typefac e (a personal favorite), c hose a tranquil, c oo l b lue, and then spac ed out the letters to g ive a feel o f spa c iousness, adding a lso the doub le c hevrons fo r balanc e.  

This logo was a lso designed under extreme time pressure while I was a member o f Team U mber, c ompeting in the N A S A International S pa c e A pps C ha llenge held in A pril 2014 at A lleyN YC . F o r our fina l presentation, we needed a logo to represent our app, U mber the W eather, whic h makes ac c essib le g lobal weather da ta fo r any date from the past 66 years, thus a g lobe c ombined with a c a lendar in ec o -friendly b lue and green.
