my family gave me the best assisted senior living
TRANSCRIPT
My entire life had always been full of fun. I was a freespirit, so outgoing that I didn’t have the time to sulkaround. Whoever chose to step on my feet didn’t haveto worry because I cared less about it.
What really mattered to mewere usually my freedomand particularly the factthat I was able to make myown independent decisions. However when I knockedmy retirement age my lifesuddenly changed.
There were no more hectic work schedules, or evenworries about how my day was going to end. Mypriorities shifted and the people I started to relate tomore often also changed.
I started getting lonelier asthe family would hit the roadin every morning to run theirerrands. Also with old agegetting the better part of me,I needed ideal protectionfrom other forms of hazards, such as burglars, firebreakouts, or even fromuninvited guests that wouldcome around to disturb mypeace.
So when my family satdown and decided that Ishould settle in anassisted retirement livingfacility, it was more thanwelcomed on my quarter. And this was ideallybecause had visited verymany pals in the assistedliving facilities and foundthe reasons to why theywere ideal.
Remember just like I had said that the thing which I valued most in my life was my
independence. Yap my independence was going to be a key factor if I had to embrace any form of assisted lifestyle in any of these
retirement communities.
And true to it I had found mostof my pals who lived in theseassisted communities to bequite independent. Theyusually made their owndecisions and lived their livesin the most normal way likethey used too before theyjoined in. So with this in mind Iknew pretty well that therewas no reason for worries.
Another thing that I still loved when itcame to these retirement communitiesand which I knew would work well to myadvantage is that they would allow me tochoose my own retirement home.
Usually most homes havegot ideal facilities thatyou can always choosefrom. Depending on thecost and your ability topay you would choose theone that suits you themost and that ideally waswhat I intended to dowhen I got there.
As I these would not suit me well I knew myhealth was on good hands. Usuallyretirement communities perform routinemedical checkups on their senior membersso that they prevent any form of diseasesthat may take advantage of the agingsymptoms. This was indeed beneficial to meas I was already retired and still wanted tokeep quite healthy.
And lastly the staff that worked in theseretirement communities always pleased me withtheir virtues, their caring, understanding, andgeneral assistance with chores. So I simply knewthat I was going to love my stay.
