Woodrow Lamb, 20, of Route 2, Mt. Vernon, was killed and two others injured early Sunday when their car, which Lamb was driv- ing, ran off Interstate 751 about 18Vi miles north of Georgetown. Commencement Exercises for sixty-eight graduating seniors will be held at the Mt. Vernon gymnasium Thursday night, (tonight) May 15 at 7:30 p.m. E.D.T.

Woodrow Lamb, 20, of Route 2, Mt. Vernon, was killed and two others injured early Sunday when their car, which Lamb was driv-ing, ran off Interstate 751 about 18Vi miles north of Georgetown.

Scott County Deputy Cor-oner, Kenneth Grant, pro-nounced Lamb dead at the scene of the accident. Don-ald Bowles, 29, Cynthiana, and Wayne Mink, 20, Callo-way, were taken to the John Graves Ford Memorial Hos-pital in Georgetown and later removed to the Univer-sity of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington.

State Trooper William Irvin said the mishap occurred about 1:30 a.m. when the trio's car ran off the'right side of, the highway, travel-ed approximately 102 feet, struck a highway sign, went another .180 feet, hit a con-crete bridge abutment, turn-ed over, skidded* 20 feet and came to rest upsidedown on a concrete retaining wall.

Late Sunday night, Mink was listed in serious con-dition at the Medical Center. He sustained a skull fracture and a fractured leg. Bowles was reported in good con-dition"with a fractured leg and multiple facial lacera-tions.

Lamb was the son of Caleb and Kathryn Bullock Lamb and a native of Rockcastle County.

He is survived by his par-ents, two sisters, Mrs. Mary Doan and MissMaggie Lamb, both of Calloway; four brothers, Douglas of Marion," Ind., John, Letoy, and Frank, all of Calloway, and his maternal grandmother, Mrs. Maggie Bullock of Calloway.

Services were held Tuesday afternoon at Sparks Funeral Home with Bro. John Durham officiating. Burial was in the Elmwood Cemetery.

ning at the end of the black-top surface which is ap-proximately. 4 miles north of Livingston, and extending north . three miles will be paved and a 3.4 mile, section of Kentucky 89, beginning from its inter-section with Kentucky State Highway 490 approximately 7 miles east of Livingston and ending at the Jackson County line' will be paved. These two projects are in
