In reference to children age three, Developmental Profiles states, “Encourage children to create new uses for safe household items and discards. (p. 138)
Children will have the opportunity to create music with household items.

The children will be able to create music with household items and water.
They will use imagination and creativity to interact with objects and material.

WHAT TO DO!
Ask what musical instruments they know about.
Tell them that we can use things from all around us to make music.
Tell them that today we are going to make music in the water area using pots and pans.
Let them explore the sounds they can make!
