The target audience are

young urban rap & hip-hop lovers from ages 15- 26, only male because the article is based on women, its not for all races but it is majorly targeted at black people, the most successful artists and people who listen to rap and hip-hop the most would be African Americans. we can tell because of the way these 2 artists are dressed and they are both African American, Juvenile on the left and Pleasure P on the right.

COLOUR

The colour of the magazine is kept at a minimum it gives us a serious image making it look professional as it is colour co-ordinated making it look simple but appealing to the audience. Black is the main colour for the text as it stands out against the white background it is readable. The white background is used for most pages in the magazine. White is a popular colour for a background, It suits everything. A little bit of blue text was added in to make it look more interesting instead of dull and boring. The colours are used effectively, the text in bold black makes it clear that it is important- title, subheading. The blue text are lyrics from a song while the black text is the article, the 2 different colour are used to differentiate each other and show that there is no link to each other this draws the attention of the reader.
