PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:Protea's Peptide Standards are lyophilized peptides that are usefulfor the standardization and method development of proteomicanalyses. Our MultiMod PTM Standard I contains one species ofeach of the following post-translationally modified peptides:phosphorylated, glycosylated, sulfated, nitrosylated, nitrated,acetylated, oxidized and methylated. Protea offers these modifiedpeptides individually and also offers the nonmodified peptidepartner to each of these peptide standards. Each Peptide Standardis Certified Mass Spec Grade and provided in convenient,lyophilized vials for easy reconstitution and usage.

PROTOCOL:1) Reconstitute MultiMod PTM Standard I with 500 µL of deionizedwater or an appropriate LC or MS buffer to make a working stockwith a 1.0 pmol/µL concentration.

2) Sonicate for 10 seconds to mix.

3) Once reconstituted, the MultiMod PTM Standard I should beused within 30 days. Smaller aliquots of the reconstituted samplecan be frozen at -80°C for 3 months and thawed as needed.

PRODUCT CARE AND STORAGE:As provided, MultiMod PTM Standards are lyophilized and should bestored at -20° to -80°C. In this state, the standards have a shelflife of at least 1 year. After reconstitution, the standards should beused within 30 days, or can be aliquotted in smaller volumes,stored at -20° to -80°C and thawed only as needed. These frozenaliquots have a minimum shelf life of 3 months.
